BM20200 Mobile Container Concept Features
BM20200 Mobile Container Concept is a mobile brake tester for light and heavy vehicles with axle load up to 20.000 kg. The BM20200 brake tester features all options known from normal in-ground brake testers such as:
- Infra Red remote control
- Service line and cylinder air pressure measurement
- Automatic axle weighing
- Test of 4×4, 6×4 8×6 driven vehicles
- Diagnostic printout Connection to PC/Notebook with BM windows software
- Axle Load Simulation
TheBM20200 Mobile Container Concept is unique as it includes transport of both BM20200 mobile roller brake tester and the BM53000 mobile play detector in one transport system – a standard 20″ container. The system is supplied to the Swedish Military.
The BM20200 is approved by several international authorities like RWTÜV Germany and complies with the ISO standard.
The BM20200 mobile brake tester is supplied to armed forces from
- Germany
- USA
- Denmark
- England
And operated in areas like Kosovo, Iraq and Afganistan. The Flattrack concept is purchased by English Army.
The robust design of theBM20200 Mobile Container Concept allows it to be placed on gravel ground potentially supported only by small steel plates under each of the six feet.
The brake tester is designed with night light projectors and axle load simulation system power from the electrical power supply.
The display of the BM20200 is normally mounted on a mobile display on wheels, which are placed in between the rollers, when transporting it.
Container Concept
The BM20200 mobile brake tester and the BM52000 mobile play detector is transported inside a standard 20″ container. With minimum modification and no disruption of the physical strength of the container walls, a transport and load/unload system is build inside the container.
The principle this logistic transport and load/unload system is a two-level system, where the BM20200 is placed on track system over another track system holding the BM52000.
Both the BM20200 and BM53000 is loaded/unloaded by support of an electrical winch and both units are rolled on 50 kg ramps, which are easily placed by the rear door of the container.
The electrical winch is controlled via cable remote control, so one person can handle loading and unloading of the brake tester. Additional the container is equipped with a manual winch for backup.
The house is also equipped with special lockable transport boxes for tools and calibration equipment as well as printer cabinet and printer, which can be rolled outside if requested. However a self-retractable wire-coil for connecting the printer with the brake tester is placed in the roof by the container door.
The container is fully equipped with 230 VAC and a large internal projector.
The concept can include a generator; Otherwise power supply can be provided by an external generator or from a normal house installation. Power requirement is as standard 3-phase 25 amp.
